okamoto koen

One of those rare days in Tokyo with no meetings, rehearsals or shows… And the one place i wanted to go was a park in our neighbourhood that i had always deemed as a special place in my heart. In 2010, i often sneaked out in the mornings to take long, morning strolls all alone, just me and my camera.

When i returned here after two years, looking up at these trees and into the deep forests i felt as if a gust of wind had just pierced through my body. It was a little like embracing a old friend, and it was as if  two years worth of dust and grime from the city (where i dwell) had been thoroughly purged from my soul. I thanked God for the splendor that was before my eyes.
