Of sound, and recording.

When Masami told us we were going to be interviewed by Sound & Recording magazine, i couldn’t quite believe it. This was a magazine we had frequently thumbed through since we were teens, and sometimes we bought an issue if a favourite artiste was on the cover.

So we made our way to Rittor Music‘s office, where we would spend the next hour talking to magazine editor Susumu Kunisaki in great detail about our roots, our process, our craft and our equipment. Kunisaki-san told us he had first heard of us from Ichiko Aoba’s cover of “Landscape With A Fairy”… and then he got hold of our album and was surprised to see friends’ names in the credits of our album such as studio engineer Yamamoto Tatsuya and celloist Seigen Tokuzawa. Subsequently he rang Yamamoto-san up and asked about us. I was surprised myself!

Many thanks to Kunisaki-san for his time and for our very enjoyable and in-depth chat. We’re really looking forward to the article!
